Roles

Project Manager

For critical IT projects under Program/Delivery leadership — structure, planning, governance and hands-on result ownership where enterprise infrastructure or continuity is at stake.

Indicative hourly rate Interim · ZZP · Detachering — discuss fit Rates are indicative and depend on scope, duration and engagement model.

PRINCE2 Practitioner and ITIL-certified senior PM with deep infrastructure credibility. Ideal for troubled recovery, regulated environments and enterprise-scale data centre or cloud delivery — senior, but still hands-on on planning, dependencies, RAID, vendors and delivery.

How I approach this role

  • Own the full lifecycle — planning, dependencies, RAID, building, testing, handover and migration (BWSE on BT data centre work)
  • Combine governance with technical authority so stakeholders trust scope, risk and budget calls
  • Recover troubled projects with strict mitigation and clear escalation (e.g. UWV-VMI)
  • Deliver continuity-critical moves without service loss (St Antonius → Groenekan; Sanquin Amsterdam DCs)

Relevant experience

  • Senior Project Manager, BT (2007–2016): cloud, infrastructure and enterprise programmes
  • Customer St Antonius Ziekenhuis (Mar–Sep 2016): hired to oversee the Groenekan DC move; guided hospital teams to migrate stacks without disruption — signed client evaluation 9/10
  • Sanquin (customer, 2018–2019): upgraded local network equipment to current technical standards; relocated datarooms to new Amsterdam data centre sites; recabled all data racks
  • DC Extension (2010–2013): Nieuwegein/Rotterdam including CEVA lift-and-shift as programme manager directing the PMs
  • Full BWSE lifecycle ownership on data centre builds; testing, handover and customer migrations
  • Troubled-project recovery (e.g. UWV-VMI) and strict risk, mitigation and budget control; coached junior and new project managers
