A senior IT manager who has already taken operational leadership during major builds and transformations. People leadership, delivery accountability, governance and enough technical standing that teams stay aligned while the work keeps moving. Honest communicator; line management rated external stakeholder management as excellent. Adoption and process change sit inside the operational mandate — not a separate changemanager assignment.

How I approach this role

  • Step into live operations without freezing delivery — first days: decision rights, risks and critical paths
  • Stabilise team, suppliers and escalation so sponsors get calm, credible direction
  • Keep infrastructure, cloud and data centre work moving under construction or migration pressure (as at BT Data Centre Services)
  • Leave behind a PMO-ready rhythm and coached ownership that lasts after handover

Relevant experience

  • Served as interim IT Manager for Data Centre Services during major construction and migration phases at BT (2006–2021 tenure) — people, supplier and operations leadership under live pressure
  • Built and led the Cloud Services PMO at Getronics — P&L for programmes and projects, team coaching and executive reporting; leadership experience includes teams of 6–15 project managers and 1 test manager across the career
  • Programme Manager for AOK ZSA portal technical refresh 3.0 → 4.0 (Automation and KaaS, ServiceNow catalogue, new hardware stack) across Getronics, AOK and COLT
  • Global DC Estate Cost-Savings Program Manager: 175 racks ceased (above the 153 maximum expected; min. 113, threshold 135), ≈€2.9M annualised cost avoidance
  • Crédit Agricole (Getronics): named-client delivery support on the programme — confirmed by MD Operations
  • Sanquin (via BT, 2018–2019): network-standard upgrade and dataroom moves to Amsterdam DCs, including full rack recabling
